Decorative Ponds

Decorative ponds are used to create aesthetic beauty for corporate offices, hotels, residential developments, shopping centers and tourist attractions. In order to avoid the impact of water seepage into the surrounding structures and to get better control of water quality in the decorative ponds, the bottom of these ponds must be lined to prevent leakage. Geosynthetic is a good solution for this bottom lined system project.

YINGFAN HDPE geomembrane is a very low permeability synthetic membrane, which of permeability is the lowest of any geomembrane material in use today. If required for slope stability, YINGFAN textured HDPE geomembrane may be used. YINGFAN nonwoven geotextiles can be protective to the geomembrane by cushioning against uneven subgrade or concrete layer. Alternatively, a GCL can be used to line these decorative ponds. There is one benefit to use GCL because it is not necessary to add other containment liners or other geotextiles to protect the GCL as GCL itself includes the geotextile and waterproofing layer. For additional hydraulic containment YINGFAN liner geotextile bentonite GCL has an impermeable coating on one side of the geotextiles to give the GCL further hydraulic containment.
