Understand the relevant knowledge about geotextiles.

Geotextiles are high-strength fiber tows and non-woven fabrics. Non-woven fabric cushions are underneath it. Warp yarn technology twists it together. The fiber tows are tied together by non-woven fabrics. Do you know the role of geotextiles? What is the application of life? Let me introduce the specific uses of geotextiles.

1. Strengthen the role

Civil engineering will stabilize and limit the displacement during long-term use, transfer or distribute the local stress on the soil to a larger area, thereby increasing the frictional resistance between the soil and the geotextile.

2. The role of protection: When the water flows scouring the soil, it effectively diffuses, transfers or decomposes the concentrated stress, prevents the soil from being damaged by external forces, and protects the soil.

3. Puncture prevention: combined with geomembrane, it becomes a composite waterproof and impermeable material, which can prevent puncture.

4. Isolation role: Use geotextiles to separate different soil structures to form a stable facet. This is the separation of each layer of structure, and play its own characteristics and overall role according to needs.

5. Filter role: Geotextile allows water to pass through, effectively preventing soil particles from passing through, and preventing soil particles from flowing out and causing soil damage.

6. Drainage function: The polyester staple fiber needle-punched geotextile has good water conductivity, which can form ditches in the soil and discharge the excess liquid and gas from the soil structure.

Geotextiles are generally used in the following ways: 1. Reservoir, mine beneficiation drainage material, high-rise building foundation drainage material 2. Railway, highway, airport runway foundation reinforcement material, marsh road repair reinforcement material 3. Soil separation Filter material 4, anti-insect material for river embankment and side slope protection 5, artificial fill, rockfill or material field and foundation isolation layer.
